At the Oregon Built Environment & Sustainable Technologies Center (Oregon BEST), we welcome partnerships with Oregon university researchers, businesses, government and non-government organizations, and nonprofits.
Our ultimate goal? Fueling Oregon’s green economy.
We do that in the following ways:
To speed commercialization of university research, Oregon BEST collaborates closely with Innovate Collaborate Oregon (ICO), which facilitates greater industry access to the latest advances in university research in Oregon.
Oregon BEST Member Faculty are international experts in green building and renewable energy research. Their university labs, test facilities, and research technicians are part of a shared-user network of research tools worth millions of dollars that are available for collaborative efforts with industry partners.
Tapping this shared network, current and prospective Oregon businesses save money by quickly collaborating with faculty researchers to solve tough R&D problems.
This benefits Oregon industry as well as Oregon’s universities — ultimately fueling Oregon’s green economy via faster commercialization, more competitive companies, and a well-trained workforce.
Reap the benefits of becoming a BEST Member Faculty and be a part of Oregon’s prominence as a national innovation leader of green building and renewable energy R&D.
