The Innovation and Impact Symposium focuses on emerging technologies in mobility, energy and the built environment.
The Innovation and Impact Symposium, formerly the Connected and Charged Symposium, builds on its history since 2011 as Silicon Valley’s premiere forum for connected transportation, mobility and electrification. Join the region’s leaders from the startup, corporate, public and research communities to examine what it takes to integrate and implement solutions for maximum impact.
Starting this year, the scope of this forum is expanding to recognize the convergence and interdependence of connected and charged mobility with advances in energy and building technologies. This event will be headlined by several plenaries with notable speakers. The remaining agenda will follow three tracks: Mobility, Energy and The Built Environment. Each track will have three breakout sessions throughout the day. Exhibitor booths will also be featured along the general floor space.

The things we make sustain and support who we are. Oregon is a world class leader in consumer products, and it’s time to own that message and voice.
Oregonians are crafters, innovators, and collaborators. We look to redefine product categories and lead in ways that stay true to the statewide communities from which they come. We are proud of what we create, and sometimes aggressively humble in how we promote them.
The Built Up Festival will celebrate the makers, brands and regions that create Oregon's tapestry. The aim is to bring together companies from across a variety of industries throughout the state for inspired and innovative programming, events, collaboration, industry resources, music & art, and — most importantly — the ability to connect.
The goal of the event is to lay the foundation for a yearly World’s Fair type event upon which to build a modern day Lewis & Clark Exposition — one that encourages thought exchange, highlights Oregon’s competitive advantage, and establishes relationships that last for years to come.
The Built Up Festival will highlight consumer innovation through exhibits, intimate intellectual environments, open-air performances, site-specific brand activations, tasting opportunities and collaborative presentations. Just as important, a marketplace will feature Oregon's diverse and inclusive consumer products to potential buyers and capital support.
