10:30am-12:00pm  |  Fireside Chats

Where Environmental Challenges Meet Economic Opportunity: A format coined by F.D. Roosevelt in the 1920's, Fireside Chats are intimate discussions with industry movers and shakers actively engaged in some of the most challenging and highly impactful work.

Fireside Chat 1TALES FROM THE CLEANTECH FRONTIER
The global cleantech industry is dynamic, spans several sectors and is evolving as innovations in areas such as agriculture and food, energy efficiency, internet of things, and materials continue to push the frontiers of technology development. Panelists will discuss how government policy, consumer demand, and technology innovation will help to shape the next generation of cleantech development.

Fireside Chat 2 | ADVANCING INNOVATION IN TARGETED SECTORS
Environmental challenges demand technological innovations that can scale. If innovations are driven by company profitability and return on capital, they are more likely to spread and have a greater impact. Business Oregon has a new innovation strategy focused on the intersections between the Natural Resources, Advanced Manufacturing and Active Lifestyle segments with cross-cutting technology themes like cleantech, internet technologies and big data. This session will illustrate some of the key environmental challenges in Oregon's priority industry segments and will examine how innovators and investors can provide solutions to these environmental challenges that are not only good for the planet, but also good for investors and for Oregon's economy.

10:30am-12:30pm |  Eco-Capital Connections (Invitation Only)

10:30am-11:30am |  PSU Cleantech Challenge - Final Pitches (Invitation Only)
