Recent years have seen the steady and dedicated efforts of many major corporations – from General Electric and Intel to Siemens and BASF – investing in the cleantech sector. These multinational companies are working to evolve their business models to keep pace with changes in the market that are calling for cleaner, more sustainable solutions.
Over the last three years, Prosper Portland (formerly the Portland Development Commission), in partnership with Oregon BEST, has offered a special event that connects these active corporates with the portfolio of innovators in the greater Portland area and across the state.
This year, the Eco-Capital Connections event will again be held in collaboration with Oregon BEST and be co-located at the BEST FEST conference in September, 2017. This invitation-only speed-networking event convenes the most active cleantech investors from the Pacific Northwest, Silicon Valley, and global corporations. Approximately 50 Oregon companies will be selected for scheduled meetings with leading corporate investors at the Sept 14th event.
Selection will be based on the following criteria:
