Oregon BEST FEST 2013 is coming up on September 11-12, 2013 in Portland.
The Call for Posters is now available HERE.
The Pacific Northwest’s premier cleantech innovation conference successfully convenes university researchers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and others to envision, build, and accelerate solutions to environmental challenges that deliver prosperity in all corners of Oregon.
The two-day, hands-on gathering at the historic Leftbank Annex in Portland, Oregon focuses on research, development, and commercialization.
This year's theme: New Horizons...
Oregon is attracting attention as a generator of new clean technology solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Here at Oregon BEST, we are working to help the state seize this opportunity and advance its leadership position.
We are expanding our clean technology focus to cover more products and services being developed by Oregon researchers and entrepreneurs. We are scaling up our programs to deliver them to even more innovators, and support a broader range of technologies. We are ramping up our efforts, and increasing impact, because the wide world of clean technology can and should encompass new technologies, discoveries, and business models that are just as much at home in Burns as in Hillsboro.
In past years, our signature conference, Oregon BEST FEST, has addressed themes of collaboration, informed innovation, and rising to the challenge. The progression of these themes reflects the momentum this conference has helped build toward our region’s strengthening clean technology economy. The natural next step is to harness that momentum to ensure even greater impact across New Horizons of technologies, strategic partners, business models and geography.
We envision Oregon BEST FEST 2013 to be a rallying point to pursue our New Horizons, together.
