The Pacific Northwest’s premier expo and networking event for renewable energy and sustainable built environment research, development, and commercialization, Oregon BEST FEST '11 brought together university researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders for an all-day, hands-on conference in downtown Portland. It was a grand success!

The program featured a range of regional and national speakers, research presentations, and interactive workshops focused on creating jobs through informed innovation and filling the gaps in developing new products and services.

Last year, Portland startup Indow Windows made key connections at Oregon BEST FEST that helped the company secure funding and launch its innovative window insert product. Read the story. This year, more companies made key connections with researchers.
